Bozzetto of St. Afra

Provenance: The bozzetto, together with other preliminary drawings, was owned until today by the Vogel family of painters, who lives opposite the sculptor family Hops in the Obertorstraße in Markdorf since the early 19th century. Hops was an apprentice in the Dirr (also Dürr) workshop, Johann Georg Dirr became a partner in the Feuchtmayer workshop in Mimmenhausen.
